BrainDriver – Control the Steering Wheel with the Mind Posted: 05 Apr 2011 10:22 PM PDT How many times do you always imagine driving the car without feeling the tiredness on the hands? It is no longer just a dream to drive the car without placing your hands on the steering wheel. Do you know why? A new gadget named BrainDriver. It is developed by professor Raul Rojas from Freie Universität Berlin. It is a kind of head cap that consists of 16 sensors. If you wear this, you can control the wheel with your mind. It means that you do not need to place your hands on it. The technology used in this gadget is called as electroencephalography in action which is developed each day. This tool has the system to guide the steering wheel. The current tests do not done at the real road yet. The driver does not use the hands to control the steering wheel. He just wears the head cap and his mind takes control. It seems rather difficult to understand this thought driving. Even the driver at the demo video seems so young. To make sure the real feeling to drive the vehicle with the mind controlling, it is better to ask the question to the driver on the video. If he can really do it, so everyone will also have the same ideas for this BrainDriver.
