Macbook Air – Ultra Thin Notebook Posted: 27 Apr 2011 10:23 PM PDT Apple is known for its stylish and futuristic designs. Not only the devices manufactured were supported with outstanding performance, the appearance is also eye catching and really considers the aesthetic aspects. This also applies for their notebook computers, Apple even created the world's thinnest notebook in the world in the late 2008. The world's thinnest notebook was introduced at the Macworld Conference & Expo on January 15, 2008 under the name of MacBook Air. This already thin notebook computer was redesigned with lighter enclosure, higher resolution screen and also higher capacity battery on October 20, 2010.  However Apple still thinks that a smaller version from the 13.3"model should be created and so the 11.6" model was also released on that date. Even though the notebook is greatly praised due to the size, weight and thinness, but this notebook also receives a lot of critics especially due to the limited configuration options, slow speed and most of all the main concern is the price. For a Mac fan, this notebook seems like a dream come true. A beautiful notebook that is not only lightweight but also thin will make it easier for people that are mobile, however there are other notebook with better performance although they might not be as portable as the Macbook Air.

New Samsung Galaxy Tab Posted: 27 Apr 2011 10:26 AM PDT Major cellular phone manufacturers are racing to create the ultimate tablet computer. These tablet computers can use any operating system but the Android operating system is considered one of the most frequent used. Even Samsung is also launching its Android based compact tablet computer on September 2, 2010 at the 2010 IFA in Berlin. The tablet is called the Samsung Galaxy Tab. This tablet is considered as the lightest tablet compared to other tablets that use metal-bodied tablets, by using plastic frame, Samsung Galaxy Tab weighs only 380g. Using a 7 inch screen, it makes it easier for one handed use but the screen is still visible without putting extra tensions to the eyes. Besides for the physical appearance and the operating system it supported, the Tab is also loaded with a lot of third party applications, including the all famous social network the Facebook. Another advantage the tab owns compared to its rival the iPad is the dual cameras. The tab performance is also sharp, you can open four or five applications in the same time and the tablet can still keep up. The battery life is also not bad, with the duration of 6 hours and 9 minutes it is just like most Android tablets.
