There are a lot of smart phones and tablets in the market today. From major manufacturers to brands that we do not even know that they exist. Each manufacturer is offering something different and unique in order to be the top. The LG is also one of the players that enter the Android phone market. When announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the latest smart phone from LG seems promising in the entertainment field and might become a strong selling point.

The LG Optimus 3D phone was positioned for the 3D entertainment purpose. Although the Optimus might not be the first device that supports 3D display, but this Android is no doubt has the widest selections of 3D games. The Android phone that will be released in United Kingdom on April will be installed with lots of 3D games by Gameloft.

Although a lot of 3D phones are offering this feature before, but so far the LG Optimus 3D phone is the only one that can get the games optimized for the platform. Although you may not get the same gaming experience like when you play on your 3D console, but this is a breakthrough since you can play your 3D games anywhere you like it.

The Android operating system was initially developed by Android Inc, however in the year 2005, Google bought the Android and ever since then the Android Operating System has become one of the best selling Smartphone platform in the world. The Android operating system consists of Java applications and it didn't take too long for the Android to be distributed and used worldwide.

Since it was first launched, the Android is using dessert items as its code name, from the Éclair, Froyo and the latest is the Gingerbread. The updated version of the 2.3 Gingerbread will be the 2.4 Gingerbread that is anticipated to be released in April this year.

The Android Gingerbread offers a few improvements not only on the surface of the operating system but also under the hood. One significant improvement is at the core changes which mean faster speed, better and longer battery life, better application management, and also the updated user interface. Not only the changes for the core, this Android Gingerbread will also support new technologies, from the internet calling, the NFC (near field communication), a bunch of new sensors, and not to mention the extra large screen. Let's just hope that this latest cookie from Google is as sweet as it sounds to be.
